When admission to the Nizhyn Regional Pedagogical Lyceum was under threat: the Association stood up to protect children

Parents, educators, and staff of the Nizhyn Regional Pedagogical Lyceum reached out to the All-Ukrainian Association “New Childhood of Ukraine” through the NGO “Education. For Change”. The reason was their concern over the situation surrounding the admission campaign.

Despite the absence of any official decisions regarding the reorganization or liquidation of the lyceum, the procedure for admitting students remained unapproved for a long time. This created a real threat of disrupting the admission campaign and depriving children of the opportunity to enroll in the educational institution.

After a detailed analysis of the situation, the All-Ukrainian Association “New Childhood of Ukraine” joined in protecting children’s right to education and began working on finding a legal mechanism to resolve the problem.
